Installation

About two minutes. Close your CAD application before you start.

No administrator rights are needed — everything installs into your own user profile. On a workstation locked down by IT, there is nobody you need to call.

  1. Run the installer
    Double-click the .exe you downloaded. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning: click "More info", then "Run anyway".
  2. Pick your CAD application
    The installer detects the AutoCAD versions on the machine and ticks the ones it finds.
  3. Open your CAD
    FerCAD loads by itself: the FerCAD tab appears in the ribbon.
  4. Activate your licence
    Type hLICENSE, paste your key, confirm.

If something goes wrong

The FerCAD tab does not appear Check the CAD was closed during installation, then restart it. If the ribbon stays empty, type FERCADDIAG: the diagnostic names what is blocking.
"Licence not found" at activation Keys start with FCL1- (licence) or FCT1- (trial). Check yours on the Check a licence page before writing to support.
The workstation has no internet access A node-locked licence contacts the server only at activation. Write to us: we issue a licence file you install by hand.
